Solid Color High Performance Epoxy

Premium Epoxy Polyurethane PVA

  Our Premium Epoxy Polyurethane PVA (PolyVinylAcetate) Color Flake System is guaranteed for 5-years.  This system is our high end product designed to stand out above the crowd.  Choose from a variety of Base Colors and Flake Colors to create that special look.  Optional features include multi-color checker boarding, custom designs and etching.

Preparation and Installation Process

  Whether you choose our High Performance Epoxy Flooring System or Premium Epoxy Polyurethane PVA (PolyVinylAcetate) Color Flake System, the installation process is pretty much the same.  Application can take up to five days, depending on certain variables such as weather, complexity of design, access, etc.  The floor will need to be clear of all items such as cars, boxes, etc.  We can offer assistance for you with storage alternatives listed under our Added Value Services below.

DAY #1:    Surface preparation.  The coating system is only as good as the preparation done on the floor prior to installation.  The concrete surface is surveyed and analyzed.  All contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, paint, spackling compound, glue and tape is removed.  The concrete is then etched with a mild Muratic Acid solution.  The concrete surface then becomes rough, or "etched", when it reacts with the Muratic Acid.  We then High Pressure Power Wash the powder residue from the reaction (calcium carbonate) of the concrete to the Muratic Acid which results in an ultra-clean surface ready for Day #2.

DAY #2:    Crack Repair.  Once the concrete is cleaned, we then seal and repair any hair-line cracks and other anomalies that may effect the performance and looks of your new floor.  All cracks are filled with a high-density mortar polymer crack filler compound.  We then "groom" the concrete surface to give your floor the ultimate professional finish.  By "grooming" we smooth out all rough edges usually on the elevated tire bump at the back of the garage, the front leading edge and side vertical edges in preparation of the Epoxy.  Also, if needed, we use our Diamond Concrete Grinders to smooth out any rough areas.  Once grooming is complete we then clean the floor again with a power blower to get all dust residue off the floor.  The last step on Day #2 is to lay the Base Coat and if we are laying the Premium Epoxy Polyurethane PVA we then Spray the Flake Chips.

DAY #3:    Additional Coating.  We now remove any loose Flake Chips and lightly Sand and Power Blow the Premium Epoxy Polyurethane PVA System.  Next we apply the first Clear Coat to both the Solid Color Epoxy or the Premium Epoxy Polyurethane PVA Systems.

DAY #4:    Final Coating.  We now apply the Final Clear Coat to both the Solid Color Epoxy or the Premium Epoxy Polyurethane PVA Systems to give your floor an outstanding look and increase the floor coating thickness.

DAY #5:    Clean up.  We finish any work needed on your new floor that includes clean up and removal of any trash and debris.  Your new floor is now ready for light foot traffic and full use on Day #6 for your vehicles!
